intro
Eclectic second single from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' much acclaimed latest album, 'Nocturma'
This is the second single from 'Nocturama'. It a double A-sided single. Both the main tracks appear also on the album, but are featured here as edits. 'He Wants You' is a slow based piano led track which is as about as classic as you can get from Nick Cave. 'Babe, I'm on Fire' is the opposite. Full of chunky bass, it has fast and fiery vocals and features a Charlatans style groovy Hammond organ. 'Little Ghost Song', the first of the B sides, both of which have previously been unreleased, is very slow, very moody and absolutely magnificent. It has a great double take vocal with Conway Savage and is reminiscent of Tindersticks at their very best. 'Everything Must Converge' sounds religious in a church going way. Neil Young does this stuff better, but this is my favourite song on this 4 tracker.
