intro
Easy going new single by the ever popular Beth Orton, pulled from her 'Daybreaker' album
'Thinking about Tomorrow' is a classic Sunday morning easy-on-the-ears Beth Orton tune. It has been pulled off her recent 'Daybreaker' album and has been released to coincide with her biggest ever UK dates. It also features two remixes of 'Daybreaker'. The first of these, the Roots Manuva Mix, is strange. Its beats are black and rap directed. Im 38's Roots Manuva actually raps on it. It does work, but it may annoy and alienate Miss Orton's audience, with its jumping tones and sound. The second remix, the Fourtet mix, is, however, more experimental and dancey, and the beats sit neatly with Beth's elegant vocal patterns.
