Dickon Edwards is BACK! I liked Orlando, his previous band, but sadly, it wasn’t to be for them once apress backlash against them took hold. Thankfully, Dickon has dusted himself down and returns with his new band Fosca though he seems to have changed his name to Dickon Angel now! Shinkansen have landed a bit of a coup here as I can see Fosca doing really well for them.‘The Agony Without The Ecstasy’ is just fabulous. It’s classic pop similar to what Baxendale are doing. Dickon’s lyrics are so brilliant they could fill a page on their own but my fave is “You’re content living purely to flirt with rough lads from Ipswich in untucked shirts”. B-side ‘Confused And Proud’ is slower paced but charmingly great. This one even mentions Lowestoft in the lyrics! It’s topped off with ‘Weightless’ where Dickon sings “Can’t I swim with the tide but faster?”. BUY THIS SINGLE NOW because this week nothing else matters.

Track Listing:-

2 Confused And Proud
