How strange ! 'Sundrenched Torso' starts off with an orchestra, and then turns into song like something from the back catalogue of Travis, then does a funky march in the manner of the Stone Roses and then becomes themed with a Jewish tinge, still maintaining throughout a trippy sound with wobbling guitars. Altogether it forms a song that ploughs on like a steam roller, while constantly also managing to flit genres. 'Superman' is a more simple song, about being Superman. I've never been fans of songs about being Superman, especially ones that become all philosophical about how hard it is and why he won't give up not just yet, especially considering he's not real….But well done to JT Mouse for making this my favourite song in such a hated genre. The genius of having brass come in to play a solo in the middle means this song is super. Man.
