If you require an album for the jaded musical palate, then look no further than MIEN’s second eponymous titled album. The crossing point between progressive, psychedelic and krautrock, its an absolute belter. In a musical landscape often confined by formulaic takes on psychedelia, MIEN takes a step forward as a force of sonic experimentation. Comprised of Rishi Dhir (Elephant Stone), Alex Maas (The Black Angels), John Mark Lapham (The Earlies), and Robb Kidd (Golden Dawn Arkestra), the band returns with their long-awaited second album, 'MIIEN'. Released via Fuzz Club, this record deepens the group's commitment to boundary-pushing collaboration while refining their genredefying alchemy. Building on the lush, immersive textures of their 2018 debut, MIIEN represents an evolution — not just sonically, but spiritually. It’s the sound of four artists united in exploration, blending the vintage pulse of ’60s psychedelia with the mechanised heartbeat of Krautrock, all filtered through a thoroughly modern, experimental lens. Opening with 'Evil People,' the band wastes no time launching into their groove.
