intro
Decent retro heavy rock on second single from duo the Sea, who are currently touring with James Morrison
The Sea are the current support to dull singer-songwriter James Morrison, which is odd as the Sea are retro rockers that might just wake up James's audience. The Sea are a London based two piece, and this is the second single from ‘Rooftops’, their second album. ‘Shake Shake’ sounds like mid 70’s Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath with its power driven big riffs and massive drums. By the time the chorus kicks in, it sounds like a Kasabian track. And so it drifts between 70’s retro and new Leicester retro, reliving the past but adding nothing new. If you want to bang your head, however, it is decent enough to do it too.
