intro
Anthemic indie rock on enjoyable latest single from Portsmouth quintet, the Strange Death of Liberal England
The Portsmouth quintet, the Strange Death of Liberal England, return with another slab of Arcade Fire-inspired indie rock, but as its title 'Lighthouse' suggest there is a definite sway towards Mike Scott's Waterboys as well. I like its sing-a-long hooky chorus. Produced by David M Allen who responsible for some fine Cure records, it is definitely worth a listen.
