intro

Introverted, but compelling lo-fi folk pop on first full-length album from Irish singer-songwriter, Eugene McGuinness

Hopes are set high for Eugene McGuinness and this first full-length album, which follows on from mini-album, 'The Early Learnings of Eugene McGuinness' from last year, is just about the right collection of songs to raise the profile of an aspiring musician. These low fidelity recordings can't hide songs of introverted and compelling beauty. Eugene has a wicked sense of humour and a talent for writing folk pop songs. Writing more words would be spoiling this little treat.

The Early Learnings of Eugene McGuinness (2007)
Worthy, if somewhat dull attempt to do something different on debut album from Eugene McGuinness
