intro
Energetic, decepetively throwaway latest single from Swedish singer-songwriter, Ida Maria
Ida Maria manages to get better and better with every song and every performance. 'Queen of the World' is an energetic track simply about feeling great when your drunk and having a good time. But with her treacle-like vocals, smashing drum beats and tambourine the song manages to transform throwaway lyrics into a work of art. It's hard to beat a song as good as Maria's previous single, 'Stella', but this manages to break even and promises amazing things to come from her debut album.

Interview (2007) |

Fortress Round My Heart (2009) |
Overly hasty re-release, which despite extra songs and a different track order, proves largely unnecessary of Swedish songwriter Ida Maria's energetic debut album from last year |
