Blur bassist Alex James has announced that The Big Feastival will return this year to his farm in the Cotswold Hills at Kingham, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire from 22 – 24 August. Alex will himself headline this year's event with the premiere performance of Alex James' Britpop Classical. Alex said, “I''m thrilled to be welcoming everybody back to the farm for our 14th year of The Big Feastival. We've really pulled out all the stops to create a weekend packed with incredible music, top-notch food and something for the whole family to enjoy. “In my star-studded Britpop Classical session Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Supergrass and a whole host of Britpop big-hitters will get the full orchestral treatment. Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc will headline the Big Kitchen and there will be cookery demos and workshops featuring many other culinary stars including Si King from the beloved Hairy Bikers. There will be children's entertainment, too, including Children's TV megastar Justin Fletcher plus Oti Mabuse will host a family dance class. - It promises to be our best summer celebration, yet!” The Big Feastival takes place at Alex James's farm in Kingham, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire from 22 – 24 August..
