Theatrical and flamboyant, The Last Dinner Party have become since winning the Brits Rising New Talent award at the start of the year one of the nost popular of nww and young British groups. They played the 02 Victoria Warehouse rwice in a three week period, once on the 21st September and again on the 11th October, to promote ‘Prelude to Ecstasy: Acoustics and Covers’, a re-release of their debut album ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ studio album along with five live and acoustic versions of songs on it. These photographs, taken at the first of these shows, by Andrew Twambley capture some of The Last Dinner Party’s offbeat humour and eccentricity.
Also at Scala, London
