'Winterwind' is a download only single from French electronic musician Sourya, who is the latest signing to former Creation Records' boss Alan's McGee's label 359 Music. It was originally released as a limited edition vinyl EP in 2012, but 359 are giving it a much wider release. Over the years, Sourya has worked with a number of other French acts including, Sporto Kantes, Dombrance and Call Me Senior, and 'Winterwind' recalls another French duo, Air. His vocals are very soft, fluffy even, while the indie electro beats on 'Winterwind' could have been recorded in the mid 1970s giving it a middle-of-the-road, FM radio-friendly drive. It is a pleasant enough tune, easy-on-the-ears, and smooth enough to grab your attention, as it has already done with Daft Punk who are fans of Sourua .
