intro
In the latest in our 'Photoscapes' series Marie Hazelwood photographs solo artist and former Little Flames front woman Eva Petersen in her native Liverpool
Eva Petersen is the former front woman with the Little Flames, the first band of Miles Kane. The Little Flames formed in Hoylake on the Wirral in December 2004, and included among their fans the Arctic Monkeys who wore Little Flames T-shirts on stage at their own gigs and also covered their second single, ‘Put Your Dukes Up John’, as the B-side of their own single, ‘Leave Before the Lights Come On’. The Little Flames’ career was short-lived and they broke up in May 2007 shortly after releasing their solo album, ‘The Day is Not Today’. Since the Little Flames’ demise, Eva Petersen has started a solo career. These photograph of Eva, which have never before been published, were taken at various locations across Liverpool by Pennyblackmusic photographer Marie Hazelwood.
