intro

Fantastic split single from fresh Edinburgh-based talents, Dead Boy Robotics and the Machine Room

Dead Boy Robotics and the Machine Room are both fresh talents from Edinburgh. This split single is being released on Tape Singles Club, a new label belonging to TAPE, a local recording studio, which hopes to put out similar releases from some of the acts who have recorded there two or three times a year. Dead Boy Robotics's 'Ever' has a fuzzy bass sound, and when its guitars kick it sounds like anthem-based U2 updated for the new century. The Machine Room's 'Girly', which gets faster as it progresses, has a lovely 80's feel, and a sensitive synth pop sound that recalls both the Lotus Eaters and the Pet Shop Boys. This release gets Tape Singles Club off to a fantastic start
