intro
Multi-dimensional and lush-sounding third album from shoegaze band, Engineers
This is the third full album and second on Kscope for British shoegaze band Engineers. It follows on from 'Three Fact Fader' which came out only fifteen months ago, but took four year in the making. The band have lost two original members since its release, but have replaced them with three more. 'In Praise of More' was recorded largely at home and is almost a solo album for bassist, guitarist and keyboardist Mark Peters. It is a lush album, full of charm, calm and harmonies to die for, Somewhere between shoegaze lushness, the chill out sounds of Mojave 3 and heavy dancey trippy tranceness, it is an album that works at many different levels. It is perfect for the winter months ahead.
