Our Website of the Month is Too Cool to Die, the new website of former Creation label boss Alan McGee (the subject of a Pennyblackmusic interview this month) and Paul Brownell. A focus primarily for up-and-coming bands, Too Cool to Die went on-line for the first time in January of this year and is usually up-dated on a daily basis. It has interviews, reviews and also features a listings guide for the London area. There is also an MP3 blog with postings of free music from both recent and also more established bands and extensive notes about them from McGee and Browning. It also has a Mixtape section in which artists reveal some of their favourite music through You Tube clips and MP3 samples. Within only a few weeks of having gone on-line, Too Cool to Die has already established itself as one of the most informative sites for new music on the web.
