Infuriatingly catchy, but hopeleslly outdated in attitude new record from new age breakbeat and hip hop Lady Waks and Hardy Hard

There must be room for Lady Waks and Hardy Hard if BBC TV3 can get away with a whole 10 episodes of 'Code 9' as this little breakbeat belter will do more damage, all to the better of course. Just in case you wondered what music was being used on the 'Spooks Code 9' first series, chances are that Lady Waks and Hardy Hard "were involved." So far, I've now watched 5 episodes and the music stood out above anything. If we only had a red button on the remote that would connect to Botchit & Scarper HQ. On this Menu Music guise, Africa Bambaata portray the spoof spooks, or should that be spooky spoofs, I wonder. Either way, you 'just got to shake your butt', and please act American whilst you're at it. Lady Waks & Hardy Hard were entirely unknown to me until recently and their slammer of post-funk, new age breakbeat, hiphop set the alarms. Causing quite a bit of havoc as they go along, feel entirely free to indulge yourself in politically incorrect, sexist drivel, with a good beat. Hardy Hard does deliver what he promised.
