The Roxy Club ‘77 www.roxyclub77.co.uk is a website dedicated to the seminal punk club that ran in London’s Covent Garden from New Year’s Eve 1976 to April 1978. The website’s editor is Paul Marko, who also runs the Punk ’77 website www.punk77.co.uk, and who has recently self-published a book on the club, ‘The Roxy London WC2 : A Punk History'. The website builds on the information in the 500 page book, providing a brief biography of the club, and a list of all the major and minor punk bands that played at the Roxy during the sixteen months that it was open. There is also information on where you can get the book, and a collection of the reviews, both positive and negative, that have come in so far. A photos section is also forthcoming, and, as well as a links page, there is a memories section that which will eventually display all the full interviews from the book.
