Our Website of the Month is Late Night Wallflower, a New York-based webzine dedicated to alternative music and culture

Late Night Wallflower www.latenightwallflower.com is a New York-based webzine dedicated to alternative music and culture. It was created in July 2006 by three college radio music directors -Alfie Palao, Elona Jones, and Matt Pullman, the latter of whom is its current editor. In recent months it has run interviews, among others, with Henry Rollins, Paint It Black, Crime in Stereo, Chris McCaughan of Sundowner and the Lawrence Arms ,the Bouncing Souls, and comic book artist Steak Mtn. Late Night Wallflower does CD and live reviews, but has a special affiliation with vinyl, running a '7 Inch Corner", a web page dedicated exclusively to new 7" single releases. It has own photos page and team of photographers, a regular 'Band Spotlight' feature dedicated to rising bands, and an extensive bands and labels column. Despite only being on-line for the relatively short time of just under two years, Late Night Wallflower is already one of the most thriving and informative alternative music webzines.
