intro

Catchy vinyl only latest single from the much acclaimed Hold Steady

Three albums in the Hold Steady have finally made a mark. That is not to say that their first albums were poor. Far from it ! But they now find themselves making particularly radio friendly music. 'Chips Ahoy!' isn’t a surprise when it comes to single material from thei latest album, 'Boys and Girls in America'. It’s short, punchy and very catchy but doesn’t really get across what a great band the Hold Steady are. My recommendation can only be to just buy the album. You’ll get hours much more enjoyment and probably won’t cost you much more than this single!
