National Capital Rock http://www.natcaprock.blogspot.com is the blogspot of Canadian-based Pennyblackmusic writer Andrew Carver. Andrew works as an editor for his local newspaper 'The Ottawa Sun'. Part of his original training as a journalist included a course in photography. A fanatical music lover, he attends on average three or four gigs a week, and in recent years has got into the habit of taking along his camera to shows to photograph each band that he sees. National Capital Rock, which is subtitled " a photographic run through Ottawa, Canada's music scene", first went on-line in February 2005 and is a chronological testimony to this. Andrew usually accompanies his photos with funny captions, and in recent weeks has put on-line a lot of photos from the 2007 Ottawa Bluesfest which ran from the 4th to 15th July. National Capital Rock is usually up-dated every day.
