U2 and Killers-inspired guitar rock on latest EP from American trio, Low Vs Diamond

America's Low Vs Diamond, are Lucas Field, Howie Diamond and Tad Moore. The title track of their new EP, ‘Life After Love’, sounds like a trendy U2 meeting the Killers in a somewhat dramatic fashion. ‘This is Your Life ’is cool in a very indie way, Americana but sung with a English accent, and a Marc Bolan style vocal from Lucas. ‘Stay Awake' again sounds like Bono and co., or even Bloc Party, but also has a touch of Jeff Buckley to it and features some strong progression as its grooves speed up. I'll Be’ is again dramatic sounding, and while, once more having a touch of U2, is more this time like the Killers playing a low key number.
