Anna Gudaniec shoots political hardcore/ska band Capdown at a concert at the Astoria in London

Capdown are a hardcore/ska punk band from Milton Keynes. Formed in 1996, their name is short for Capitalist Downfall and their songs often have political themes. Their members are Jake (vocals and saxophone), Boob (bass guitar), Keith (vocals and guitar), Tim (drums) and Eddie (keyboards / samples). Through incessant touring they have built up a strong fanbase. They have to date recorded two studio albums, 'Civil Disobedients' (2000) and 'Pound for the Sound' (2001), and a live record 'Live in M.K.' as well as releasing various singles and DVDS. These photographs find Capdown on typically abrasive form and were taken by Anna Gudaniec at a gig supporting Me First and the Gimmes at the Astoria in London on May 6th.
