Working in the same style as Couch, Mina is the sound of guitars that have been re-arranged in to a wide range of dance music. From surf, via easy tuned rock instrumentals on to discofied pop, Mina honour the beats with many salutes. 'A To B' is Mina's second Bungalow album and like on their debut, we'd like to hear more, more, even though not all of the instrumentals will stay with you forever. Highlights like 'NO 6' and the subsequent 'Yourself' excel in speed and urgency. Mina's greatest assets are their instrumental strums and drums which are reminsicent of the Raybeats and TFUL 282. As suggested by its title, the album features linear instrumental rock excursions, with some delicious exotic organ playing.
