As a general rule of indie-boy CD buying, I would have thought it best to avoid buying CDs in which the words "alternative" and "electronic" appear on the same single, especially if they are mixed with a phrase like "Let's Go". I have, however, been proved wrong. This single might sound like it's going to be a disturbing call-to-arms for Moog enthusiasts everywhere to obliterate guitar supremacy with their evil synth-based sounds. But actually, it turns out to be a very strange mixture of The Human League, the Sex Pistols, and anyone who's ever shouted vague expressions along to funky chords. It's very very funky. You'll find yourself bopping to it for days. It's catchy, oddly simple, and while almost every line rhymes with "electronic", it's fun, flashy, and is the sum of many pop parts. It would be hard not to like this. The hard part is trying to work out who it reminds you of. Too many people really. Ultimately, anyone who said "yeah" and "go" in a cool manner and made two chords cool. It's great though.
