Edinburgh-based four-piece Lords of Bastard make a right racket. Throwing together stoner rock, sludge and even a little bit of punk to help it all along, the result is noisy, hypnotic and most excellent. Lords of Bastard) manage to inject a great deal of fun into their art without being a “funny” band. You can tell these Edinburgh chaps get up on stage, and have a good fucking time. With ‘Cuddles’ they have captured this superbly with the ferocious tunes on display here like ‘Bloody Hell’, ‘Fourth Dimensional Hand Gesture (John)’ and ‘Lord have Murphy’.
