Off-kilter electro pop on second EP from Man is Slapped, the moniker for York-based eletronic musician, Richard Berks

Richard Berks from York is the Man Slapped and this EP is being given away on his MySpace page. Man ss Slapped is also sending out CDRs and that's what I have listened to a couple of times. The 4 tracks haven't really sunk in and continue to confuse me. Perhaps they'll remain small mysteries. On two quiet tracks his vocals echo with hesitance. Richard is at his best when he performs his off-kilter electro pop. His lyrics are rather funny. The songs have a wacky edge and sound quintessentially English. Why am I wasting your time with words, when you can get your ears around this at MySpace? Runterladen, das ist Befehl!
