intro
Orchestral latest single from Gregory Darling, whose melodic brand of kitsch pop challenges Jarvis Cocker
Well, it is about time that Jarvis Cocker faced some challenge and Gregory Darling happily obliges. Gregory's single verges on the edge of kitsch pop both in its music and and its lyrics. It remains to be seen though whether Gregory will last as long as Jarvis has seemed to. 'Kiss The Pain' is a heavily orchestrated piece of work with just about the right dose of melody to keep you awake in a traffic jam. BBC Radio2 will love this.
