intro
Experimental Talking Heads-influenced third single from Midlands-based band, Late of the Pier
'The Bears are Coming’ has been released on limited 12 inch vinyl and as a download on Late of the Pier’s own label, Zarcop. The band hail from Castle Donington in the Midlands, and this is their third single. They are currently recording their debut album. ‘The Bears are Coming’ has wacky Bjork-style beats with vocals from singer Samuel Eastgate that recall David Byrne during his Talking Heads era. As it progresses it goes off in many zany directions, showing that this is a band that are not scared to experiment.
