One of the great British rock bands, Primal Scream are best known for their 1990 Andrew Weatherall-produced, Mercury Award-winning Acid House-influenced 1990 album, ‘Screamadelica’, but have released another eleven albums including last year’s ‘Come Ahead’. These photographs of frontman Bobby Gillespie, guitarist Andrew Innes and bassist Debbie Googe were taken by Ian Dunn at a gig at the 02 Academy in Birmingham which was part of a UK tour to promote ‘Come Ahead’ on April 7th.
