Often described as the “Scouse Springsteen”, Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Ian Prowse is best known for being the front man with the acclaimed 1990's group Pele and also the seven-piece band, Amsterdam, of which John Peel was a fan. In recent years as well as continuing to front Amsterdam, Prowse has also started a solo career, and recently released his fourth album, 'On a Starry Night', These photographs of Ian Prowse were taken by Andrew Twambley for Pennyblackmusic at a hometown show at the Liverpool Academy on the 10th December.
