Since returning after a long hiatus, Scottish chamber pop outfiit The Bathers have become a regular live act again and have played over the last few months gigs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. to promote their 2023 album 'Sirenesque', their first studio album in over twenty years. On July 16th and 17th, The Bathers, which consists of Chris Thomson (vocals, acoustic guitar), Callum McNair (electric guitar), Nico Bruce (bass) and Hazel Morrison (drums, percussion), played two nights at The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh at which they were joined on stage by strings players Fergus Heatherington and Gisele Hans, and for the latter gig by trumpet player Colin Steele.
