In the first part of a two part gallery, Andrew Twambley photographs 60's veterans The Manfreds at a gig at the Bowdon Rooms in Altrincham.
The Manfreds are a British pop group, which was formed in 1991 as a reunion of former members of the 1960s pop group Manfred Mann, but, however, without their founder member Manfred Mann. The current line-up of the band consists of former Manfred Mann members Paul Jones (vocals, harmonica), Mike Hugg (keyboards) and Tom McGuinness (guitar),with Rob Townsend (drums, percussion), Marcus Cliffe ( bass guitar) and Simon Currie (saxophone, flute). Ex-Manfred Mann pianist and vocalist Mike D'abo is also a member but did not appear on their most recent tour. In this two part gallery, these stunning black ad white photos were taken by Andrew Twambley at a gig at the Bowdon Rooms in Altrincham.
