Robert Hadley takes photographs of electro-modernist guitar group Pale Blue Eyes at the Hare and Hounds in Birmingham

Article

Pale Blue Eyes are a young electro-modernist guitar group based in Devon. They have just released their second LP 'This House', which tells of vocalist and guitarist Matt Board's trauma and grief at recent parental loss and the selling-up of his childhood home. The group, which also consists of his wife, drummer and synth player Lucy Board and bassist Aubrey Simpson , have supported bands including Slowdive, Public Service Broadcasting, Sea Power and W.H. Lung, and played a fifteen-date headline UK tour in November. These photographs were taken at a gig at the Hare and Hounds in Birmingham on the 15th November.
