Raveonettes - You Want the Candy

Label: Fierce Panda
Format: 7"
Energetic second vinyl only single for the Raveonettes from their latest album, 'Lust, Lust, Lust'

Review

'You Want the Candy' is the second seven inch from Danish garage rock the Raveonettes' current album, 'Lust, Lust, Lust'. It is a mega-fast, sugar-flavoured, fuzzy-based pop number with a solid guitar beat and a drum machine rhythm. Its exclusive B side, is 'Forever in Your Arms', which is more 50's beatnik-influenced in its attitude and has a jangly Duane Eddy twang. This is what the Raveonettes do best and it is totally cool. This is the perfect single to warm us up on these early spring nights.
