Miss Lava - Red Supergiant

Label: Small Stone Records
Format: CD
Torturous stoner rock on second album from Portugese-based group, Miss Lava

Review

Miss Lava make Bon Jovi sound like as if they are imaginative. Awful music can prove funny through its failure, but Miss Lava are simply pathetic. 'Red Supergiant' manages to pack 500 clichés into its eleven songs. Not even the Swedish Chef, nor a Muppet would know what to make of this loud surface noise. Listening all the way to the last track felt like torture. 'Yesterday's Gone' had me smirking for a brief moment at its unbelievable dreadfulness. ‘Red Supergiant’ is, however, not hilarious, just plain awful. Avoid at all costs.
