Serenely beautiful latest single from Japanese ambient electronic artist, Susuma Yokota. which featuring the vocals of Nancy Elizabeth Uncliffe, has several remixes
Review
The wonderful-voiced Nancy Elizabeth Uncliffe has her second album due out soon. She, however, recorded 'A Flower White' for Susumo Yokota's 'Mother' album. She's like an elf on it. The original is a serene beauty of a pop song, a bit like 10CC's 'I'm Not In Love'. The Seeland mix doesn't add much, but the Montag remix of 'Love Tendrelises' strips the track from the beat and replaces it with lots of deep echoes.
The Oen Sujet (Silly Bugger in Flemish!) deconstructs the track and turns 'A Ray Of Light' into a restless piece of folk-tronica.
Montag does another remix on 'Love Tendrelises', which also appears on this and which becomes a pleasent dreamscape. So, move over to Lo Recordings and try some loveliness.
