Second single from Bjork's controversial new album 'Medulla', which finds her , like most of the other tracks on that album, abandoning all instruments
Review
'Triumph of a Heart', the second single from Bjork's new album 'Medulla' starts off, like most of the tracks on that album, without any instruments on it. Bjork's vocal is very golden on this track. It starts off with the sound of a rapper who is a human beat box, which remains the backing music for the rest of the track. On the whole it is hard work, but the video that assists it and appears on a DVD version of this single is beautiful.
The B side of this two tracker, 'Desired Constellation (Ben
Frost's school of emotional engineering mix)' is much more electronica based with Princess Bjork sounding at her most angelical,. This mix is easily as good as anything on her best ever work 'Selmasongs,' the soundtrack to the film, 'Dancer in the Dark.'
