La Jungle - Fall off the Apex

Label: Visible Near Midnight
Format: CD
Urgent punk disco pop from French speaking Belgium band La Jungle

Review

La Jungle's vocalist might have taken singing lessons from one John Lydon ,while the band manage a rather fine blend of Franz Ferdinand and The Prodigy. If you're still with me. LA Jungle progress towards manic metal on a few tracks with zany prog rock keyboards. They start to remind me of Frank Zappa, in particular on 'Feu L'Homme'. Like a ticking bomb, La Jungle press on with another 1980s styled bassline on 'The End The Score' - a fine paced instrumental which catches their roll-on roll-off momentum.
