The X & Y Festival is a two day weekend festival in Liverpool that aims to promote both grassroots bands and also new indie acts.
Now in its second year, the X&Y Festival place took place this year on the 6th and 7th July and featured over a dozen bands.
These photographs were taken by Marie Hazelwood on the first day of the festival and show in order the Crookes, the Heartbreaks and current Pennyblackmusic interviewees Catfish and the Bottlemen.
