Lucy Rose Parton is a 21-year old Surrey-born, but English-born singer-songwriter, who began her musical career by appearing on backing vocals on the Bombay Bicycle Club albums, 'Flaws' (2010) and 'A Different Kind of Fix'(2011).
Lucy Rose is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, keyboards and percussion. After signing to Columbia in 2012, she released her debut album 'Like I Used To', which she recorded in her parents' home in Warwickshire with producer Charlie Hugall.
Lucy Rose, who includes Joni Mitchell and Neil Young among her influences, spent April and May touring the UK. She will be spending the summer playing festivals including Glastonbury, Hyde Park Calling and T in the Park, before travelling to the United States in September where she will support City and Colour on two weeks of dates.
These photographs were taken by Marie Hazelwood at a show at the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 13th May.
