Anonymous-sounding debut album of folk pop from Snippet main man and Colchester-based singer-songwriter, Johnno Casson
Review
Timid tedium for the most part, Johnno Carson's debut album brings eleven songs, whose words read better as lyrics, than the melodies sound as the music.
This is an album of quiet, introverted folk pop music highlighted only once or twice by a nice few riffs on the piano. 'Disguised as Love' is by far the most elaborate track, but again, its quality relies heavily on those Brian Wilson-esque touches. The anonymous character of the album is my main objection.
