Marie Hazelwood photographs acclaimed indie rock band the Maccabees at a gig at the Liverpool O2 Academy

The Maccabees are an indie rock band from Brighton, who are currently signed to Fiction Records, the record label of the Cure.
They have to date released three albums, ‘Colour It In’ (2007), ‘Wall of Arms’ (2009) and ‘Given to the Wild’, which came out in January.
The band, which consists of Orlando Weeks (vocals, guitar); Hugo White (guitar,backing vocals); Felix White (guitar, backing vocals); Rupert Jarvis (bass); Sam Doyle (drums) and for touring purposes Will White (keyboards), have been playing to large audiences. They headlined the Shockwaves MME Awards Tour in 2010, and have also sold out Brixton Academy.
These photographs were taken at the Liverpool date of their latest tour at the O2 Academy on March 12th.
