Amy
Voice of the siren bringing in the fleet
Touching hierarchy and the streets
Lady sang the blues in a timeless fashion
Lady sang every time with eternal passion
27 Club has one more
To hell with the bastard keeping the score
Such a loss from so fragile a child
Her beauty lost, set free in the wild
Wonderful, painful, endless and sad
Do they have to pay for the beauty they had?
The endless tears by so many
That tribute won't end, won't stop being heavy
Sometimes life takes the best away
So cruel the master that rules the day
Many cry and pay with tears
But was she trying to hide from all her fears?
Every time we hear her voice in song
Make us so grateful that she once did belong
Goodbye Amy, we will always love you
Until the day that we meet and all sing the blues.
