Sound City was a three day event that took place across Liverpool between the 19th and 21st May at several of the city's venues and which saw dozens of acts take to its stages. Pennyblackmusic photographer Marie Hazelwood was there to photograph some of these acts. The photographs that accompany the first part of this Photoscapes are of local indie rock act the Rialto Burns and teenage singer-songwriter Luke Fenton, while those in the second part are of late additions the Kooks, former Beta Band front man Steve Mason and Copenhagen-based country pop outfit Billie Van and Her Ranchhands.
