From Utrecht, 'Raising The Bar' is a piece of abrasive dubstep, borrowing the aggressive style of early breakcore æsthetics, yet stretching the beats to dubstep proportions. The Foreign Beggars are of a different ilk though, coming from Antwerp or Rotterdam, I cannot tell, or know. But the flow of their English language isn't particularly eloquent. Flemish would have been much greater, and it's those complex rhythym patterns instead that are in focus. Their tearing synth breaks with bubbling buzz beats make you forget about any flirtation of word that you may have heard. This is bonkers.
