Gaslight Anthem - American Slang

Label: Side One Dummy
Format: CDS
Anthemic New Jersey rock on new single from the Gaslight Anthem, the first from their third album of the same name

Review

New Jersey punksters the Gaslight Anthem release a taster from their eagerly anticipated third album of the same name, which is released on the 14th June. 'American Slang' is a three minute slab of pop/ punk with very obvious leanings to another New Jersey resident Bruce Springsteen, In fact it could almost have been written for them by the Boss himself. It, however, has all the hooks and an anthemic sing-along chorus in the right places so it really just can't fail.

Track Listing:-

1 American Slang (Single)
