The King Blues are a London-based band, who fuse an acoustic folk and ska sound together with a punk and hardcore influence.
The group, which consists of Jonny "Itch" Fox (vocals, ukelele and melodica), Jamie Jazz (vocals, guitar), Fruitbag (vocals, guitar), Jonny Rich (vocals, bass), Jim Parmley (percussion) and Al Gunby(drums), first formed in 2004 and have released two albums to date, 'Under the Fog' (2006)and 'Save the World, Get the Girl' (2008).
They also tour on a regular basis. These photographs were taken at a King Blues show on the 1st October at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth by Katie Anderson for Pennyblackmusic.
