Shinedown are a hard rock act from Jacksonville in Florida. They have now released three albums on Atlantic Records, 'Leave a Whisper' (2003), 'Us and Them' (2005)and 'The Sound of Madness' (2008, each of which has gone either platinum or gold in America.
Shinedown, which currently consists of Brent Smith (vocals),Zach Myers (guitar), Eric Bss (bass) and Barry Kerch (drums), played their first headline tour of Europe in January.
They returned for more British dates in June and this tour also coincided with an appearance at this year's Download Festival.
These photographs were taken by Katie Anderson at a gig at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms on June 18th.
