Review

This reissue of Biff Bang Pow !'s 1984 second 7 inch single on Creation Records on CD has come out like all its label Edition 59's releases in a limited edition of 59 copies. 'There Must Be a Better Life' still stands up for itself twenty five years on. It is jangly guitar heaven, backed by hard driving drums and Teardrop Explodes style keyboards, and reveals a total passion for life. It is a call to arms, a pure celebration of youth in the same way that The Who's 'My Generation' was twenty years before that. It's original B side, 'The Chocolate Elephant Man', is much softer and very Rickenbacker flavoured. It is song to nod your head too , a song to make you smile, and as strong as anything by the early Byrds.

Track Listing:-

1 There Must Be A Better Life
2 The Chocolate Elephant Man
